The stay at Hotel Hohenegg is determined by nature. The pleasant smell of the Swiss pine helps for a healthy sleep, whereas the free panoramic view of meadows and forests and the fresh mountain air perk you up and make you fit. Sustainability and regionality are most important to us: therefore we only use self-produced, renewable energy. Our rooms are equipped with natural minerals and our furniture is made out of the wood of the local Swiss pine.

Summer feeling

Reinswald is an ideal starting point for marvellous hikes and summit attempts. The hiking area Reinswald also offers possibilities for family adventures: at the Urlesteig – the nature experience in Sarntal – hiking with children becomes a holiday highlight. But Reinswald is also the place to stay for all those who like mountainbiking, horseriding or just enjoying the beautiful silence of the forests.

Winter fun

The family-friendly skiing resort Reinswald is within easy walking distance from our hotel. It impresses with broad and sunny slopes, a path for ski tourers, the "Sunpark" – a fun park for all the freestyle daredevils – well-prepared winter hiking trails and one of the – if not THE – most famous toboggan runs of South Tyrol. Here you can enjoy the winter, both actively or in total relaxation.
